Dean Morgan - Lead Guitar/Vocals
Dean Morgan has been playing guitar since the age of 11 and joined his first professional band aged 19, where he performed around the UK clubs and holiday camps. He, and two singers, then went on to form a band of their own in February 2001 to continue performing on the UK's Club Circuit. After a short break, in September 2002, Dean joined "Penelope's Pitstop" and eventually became a partner running it alongside Penny. Eventually, Penny and Dean both decided to go with their love of rock music and formed "Back In Black" in March 2004.
Back In Black worked successfully up until November 2007 when Penny and Dean decided they would like to leave the club scene and form a new band that will perform to audiences with an appreciation for good music and great musicianship. Dean had tired of performing in front of audiences that wouldn't be there if the there was no bingo on. Fortunately, there are still some clubs that appreciate a good band, but not enough of them.
Dean finally came up with the idea of forming Skitz, a fully live band, performing for weddings, functions, parties and any venue that would like to book a professional, live band. He felt the need to seek out venues and functions where the band is seen as what it's meant to be. The Entertainment!.
Dean has a passion for rock music, but also a passion for playing any genre as long as it sounds as good as it possibly can and is done well. He and Penny, hand picked the musicians that form Skitz to make sure they had the "best of the best".
