Tony Croton - Drums
Tony started playing the drums at the age of 15. He entered a competition to find the best unknown drummer in the UK in 1986 and 1987. He was placed 3rd in 1986 and 5th in 1987, which was not bad, considering they were his first live performances.
Tony's first band was a Punk outfit called "Boisterous", a hardcore fast punk band playing original material. He regularly performed in pubs with the band before moving into a different style of music with his next band, "Valley Rain" which was mainly soft ballads and light rock, regularly appearing in the Sunday Sun newspaper.
Tony continued performing in various other bands until settling with a band called "Royce", an indie rock band with a Stereophonics type of vocal style. He then went on to join a rock covers band called "Orange County", later to be known as "Feedback", playing a few local pub gigs.
In February 2004 he joined "Back In Black", performing high energy rock covers on the club circuit. He stuck with the band until the end, with a six month break in between.
Now Tony is the powerful, energetic and solid drummer that keeps Skitz tightly together throughout their performance.
